The Cylinder Blocks consist of 4 blocks per set, each block with 10 knobbed cylinders: First Block progress in height and diameter from small to large. Second Block progress in diameter from thin to thick. Third Block decreases in height at the same time increases in diameter from tall and thin to short and thick. Fourth block increases in height from short to tall with the diameter remaining the same. The Blocks provide experience in visual discrimination for the child; at the same time by grasping the knobbed cylinders the child will indirectly develop the three finger grip.
